Mount Barker 2008  ~  ' Fruits of Life ' ~  22 - 24 August 2008

	2008 SA Rural Women's Gathering at Mount Barker
Mount Barker was the thirteenth SA Rural Women's Gathering held in South Australia.
Rosalie Flavell was the Chair of the organising committee.
The Gathering was held entirely at Cornerstone College.
Keynote speakers were Sheree Sullivan, Nicki Downer AM
Over 200 women attended from across South Australia and from interstate.

Clare 2007  ~  ' Celebrate Life ' ~  17 - 19 August 2007

Clare was the twelfth SA Rural Women's Gathering held in South Australia.
Jane Moore, was the Chair of the organising committee.
The Reception and The Gathering Dinner was held at Clare Town Hall. The Workshop sessions was held at the Clare High School.
Keynote speakers were Fiona McIntosh, Novelist/writer, Fiona O'Laughlin, Comedienne and columnist and Pat Mickan, Basketball Olympian.
An estimated 250 women attended from across South Australia and from interstate.

Goolwa was the eleventh SA Rural Women's Gathering held in South Australia.
Carol Schofield, was the Chair of the organising committee.
The Reception was held at the Centenary Hall. The Workshop sessions was held at the Investigator College and The Gathering Dinner was held at the Hotel Victor, Victor Harbour.
Keynote speakers were Hon. Caroline Schaefer MLC, Leith Boully, former Director of Land Water Australia, Dana Shen, Executive Director Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Heidi Bartram, 2005 Young Australia of the Year and 2004 Young Achiever of the Year in the SA Water Environment Category.
An estimated 160 women attended from across South Australia and from interstate.

Keynote speakers were Allyson Parsons, Acrylic Painting Artist and Margaret Rohan Kelly, former "Miss Australia".
An estimated 200 women attended from across South Australia and from interstate.

Cummins was the eighth SA Rural Women's Gathering held in South Australia.

The Reception was held at the Cummins Hall and the Workshop sessions was held at the Cummins Area School. The Gathering Dinner was held at the Community Complex.
Keynote speakers were Leonie Clyne, Managing Director of Angus Clyne Australia, Ruth Andserson, author and self-publisher of 'Spin a Woolly Yarn, Boys in the Bush, Gone Bush and the McTaggart Story', Dr. Patricia Crook AO, first female President of the Dynek Pty Ltd for which she is co-founder and Managing Director of, and Diana Anderson, Southern Mallee District of NW Victoria.
An estimated 160 women attended from across South Australia and from interstate.

	2002 SA Rural Womens Gathering at Tanunda
Tanunda was the seventh SA Rural Women's Gathering held in South Australia.
Linda Andersen, was the Chair of the organising committee.
The Reception and Gathering Dinner was held at the Chateau Tanunda, and the Workshop sessions were held at The Arts and Barossa Convention Centre.
Keynote speakers were Robyn Moore, the voice behind 'How Green is my Cactus', Her Excellency Marjorie Jackson-Nelson, Governor of South Australia, Maggie Beer, well known Barossa identity, Bruce Munday, Chair of the Landcare Association of South Australia, Tim Roseby, Head of the Commonwealth Foot and Mouth Taskgroup and the Hon. Caroline Schaefer MLC, Shadow Minister of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries and Regional Affairs.
An estimated 230 women attended from across South Australia and from interstate.

	2001 SA Rural Womens Gathering at Berri
Berri was the sixth SA Rural Women's Gathering held in South Australia.
Marian Woodberry was the Chair of the organising committee.
The Reception and the Gathering Dinner was held at the Greek Hall in Renmark, and the Workshop sessions were held at the Murray Institute of TAFE, Berri.
Keynote speakers were Anne Jennings, Rural Women's Award (2000), Anne Jensen, Chief Executive Officer of Wetland Care Australia, Jeanette Wormald, singer-song writer, Elspeth Radford, Chairperson of the Burra Community Development Council, Rosa Matto, Guest Chef for International Hotels Hyatt Regency in Perth and Adelaide and the Mandarin Oriental in Jakarta. Louise Nicholas, Author of 'The Smear Test' (1997), Johnny Gurr, ABC's First Female Regional Journalist, Beryl George, Founding Member of Women in Horticulture and Debbie Thiele, ABC Radio Australian Rural Women of the Year (1994).
Over 210 women attended from across South Australia and interstate.

Kangaroo Island 2000  ~  ' Diversity - Together as One ' ~  4 - 5 August

	2000 SA Rural Womens Gathering on Kangaroo Island
Kingscote (KI) was the fifth SA Rural Women's Gathering.
Jeanette Gellard, (Kingscote) was the Chair of the organising committee.
The Reception and the Gathering Dinner was held at the Kingscote Town Hall, and the Workshop sessions were held at Kingscote Area School.
Keynote speakers were Rosalba Clemente, Artistic Director of State Theatre South Australia, Sharon Oldfield, winner of the 1999 State Ibis Award and Senator Meg Lees, Democrats Leader in 1997.
Over 180 women attended from across South Australia and interstate.

Bordertown was the fourth Rural Women's Gathering held in South Australia.

The Reception and Gathering Dinner were held at the Civic Hall, and the Workshop sessions held at the Bordertown High School.
Keynote speakers were Kay Cottee, Bicentennial Australian of the Year and Dr Christine Kirby, Reproductive Medicine Unit of the University of Adelaide.
Over 400 women attended from across South Australia and interstate.

	1998 SA Rural Womens Gathering at Kadina
Kadina was the third Rural Women's Gathering held in South Australia.
Tracey Browning, (Kadina) was the Chair of the organising committee.
The Reception and Gathering Dinner were held at the Kadina Town Hall, and the Workshop sessions held at the High School.
Keynote speakers were Debra Heitmann, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Council of Business Women and Susan Chase, Managing Director of Cowell Electrical Supply Company Ltd.
Over 300 women attended from across South Australia and interstate.

	1997 SA Rural Womens Gathering at Kimba
Kimba was the second SA Rural Women's Gathering.
Kerri Cliff, (Kimba) was the Chair of the organising committee.
The Reception was held at the Kimba Community Hotel. Workshop sessions were held at Kimba Area School. The Dinner was held at the Kimba Town Hall.
Keynote speakers were Beverlee Adams from New South Wales, Tracy Secombe, former Miss South Australia, Hon. Caroline Schaefer MLC and Beryl Price, President of the Country Press Association SA Inc.
Over 180 women attended from across South Australia and from interstate.

Murray Bridge 1996  ~  ' Yunnanfest ' ~  18 - 20 October 1996

	1996 SA Rural Women's Gathering at Murray Bridge
Murray Bridge was the first Rural Women's Gathering held in South Australia.
Elizabeth Nicholls, (Jabuk) was the Chair of the organising committee 'Women of The Land'.
The Civic Reception was held at the Rural City of Murray Bridge Council Chambers. The Workshop sessions was held at the Murray Bridge High School. The Gathering Dinner was held at the Bridgeport Hotel.
Keynote speakers were Maree McCaskill, Executive Director of the Australian Cotton Foundation and Dorinda Hafner from 'A Taste of Africa'.
Over 180 women attended from across South Australia and interstate.
At the conclusion of the Gathering a tree donated by New South Wales was planted on the out skirts of the rural City of Murray Bridge comemorating the inaugral SA Rural Women's Gathering.
